• ANSI/IICRC S520, Third Edition

Invasive Sampling includes any demolition, sheetrock removal, or material manipulation that is deemed invasive by the inspector.

LRC does not conduct invasive sampling. Therefore, if a cavity needs to be inspected or sampled, sheetrock or other material should be removed prior to our investigation. 

Providing both mold investigation and remediation services is a conflict of interest in our industry (IICRC S520). LRC does not provide any physical remediation services; however, we do provide detailed recommendations for a remediation company to reference before determining a protocol.
